Did you know that approximately 90% of your body is water?  It is used or a by-product of the majority of the chemical reactions and processes that take place in your body.  In fact, dehydration can impact the health of your skin, joints, digestive system, and brain. Our mobility and flexibility are significantly impacted by our hydration levels, along with attention, alertness and our ability to focus!  We need water!

Action tips:  Simply have water with you during the day. Keep it an arms reach away. Rather than recommend a specific amount of water, as strange as it may sound, your urine is one of your best indicators of hydration.

If it is the color of apple juice, you are dehydrated and need to drink more. If it is the color of pale lemonade or clear, you are well hydrated and good for the time being. 

This is a spectrum of colors. If your urine is on the dark end of the spectrum – not necessarily apple juice dark, but a darker color – you need to drink more.
